Boeing 737-300

The loyal workhorse

The Boeing 737-300 was the workhorse for Lufthansa: good-natured, reliable and tireless. In 1986, just two years after its maiden flight, the Boeing 737-300 joined the Lufthansa fleet. The plane can carry up to 140 passengers for Lufthansa over a distance of 2,000 kilometres, ideal for routes within Germany and Europe. The Boeing 737 in its various versions has been serving airports all over the world for over four decades and is the best-selling passenger plane ever.
