The winters in Estonia are not as severe as in Russia, but it is still very cold for a long time. If you don’t want to see Estonia under snow the best time to go is between June and August. The temperatures are then very likely above zero and you can go swimming in the many crystal clear lakes.
Estonia is about 50 %forest land. That means there is plenty of space to go for long walks and maybe even see bears or a cute flying squirrel in the wilderness!
