You can clearly differentiate between the seasons in Switzerland: in summer the temperatures are between 18 and 28 degrees during the day, in winter between -2 and 7. In spring and autumn it is comfortably mild at 8 to 15 °C. Don't forget: it is always colder in the mountains than in the valley.

In 1815, the politicians in Switzerland decided that Switzerland should follow a principle of neutrality. That means that Switzerland does not get involved in wars between other states. Swiss politicians have been adhering to this principle for 200 years now.
